Many employers match charitable donations, allowing you to maximize your support for education at no extra cost to you. Some companies also extend this benefit to retirees and spouses.

If your company participates, follow the instructions provided by your organization to submit your matching gift. If you’ve already made a gift, you can request a match through your employer’s online portal. Alternatively, you may request a matching gift form from your employer and submit the completed, signed form with your gift—we’ll take care of the rest.

What is a Matching Gift?
Matching gift programs are corporate giving programs where companies match donations
made by their employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. Many companies set aside
funds each year to support employee philanthropy, allowing eligible donations to be
matched. If your employer participates, your gift to ±¾É«ÊÓÆµ
may be matched—an easy way to double or even triple your impact.
Who is an eligible employee?
Eligibility for matching gifts is determined by each employer and may vary by organization.
In many cases, full-time employees, part-time staff, retirees, spouses, and even members
of a company’s board of directors may be eligible. Some employers may also require
a minimum length of service before matching contributions. Because guidelines differ,
we encourage you to check with your employer to confirm eligibility for California
Baptist University’s matching gifts.
